A little over a week ago Bill and I were in Cincinnati preparing ourselves to go back in time - musical time that is!!! Since we have retired, we have been enjoying going to a wide variety of concerts. We have not stayed with just one type of music, but have included a wide variety of musical styles and groups. We have tried to write a short review on most of the concerts.
The latest group in which we were part of the audience was Crosby, Stills, and Nash. It took us back to the late 60's and early 70's. (Oh my!) I can remember turning on the radio and listening to the songs we heard them sing during the concert. They are still able to harmonize - albeit not as they did over 40 years ago, but it was still fantastic!!! They put their heart and soul into their playing and singing. The majority of the audience was older and had a wonderful time reminiscing and reliving their youth! Many of us were not able to enjoy the artist we enjoyed listening to for many reasons - money, time, distance - but since retiring, we now have an opportunity to relive some of our youth!
Below are some of the pictures we were able to take during the concert as well as a list of some of the songs they sang during their performance in Cincinnati. The list may not be in order as they performed that night, but we did hear these songs!!! Some of our readers like to see what songs were sung. Many times we don't hear songs we expect to hear, but my goodness, many of these groups had so many hits - how could they ever sing them all at one concert??????
